When will shadow warrior 3 come out1/9/2024 ![]() The only other supporting characters are a sorceress named Motoko and a banished spirit named Hoji (who also helps in the Shadow Warrior reboot from 2013). Taking place after the events of 2017's Shadow Warrior 2, mercenary warrior Lo Wang bands together with former employer and antagonist-turned-sidekick Orochi Zilla to find and destroy an ancient dragon that has left the world in ruins. ![]() Perhaps you’ll want to have played the games which preceded it in order to get a grasp on the life and times of Lo Wang, but ultimately this is one of the best modern ninja takes yet.SHADOW WARRIOR 3 is the third installment in the over-the-top 25-year-old action game series. Shadow Warrior 3 is a gorgeous looking, extremely fun, hugely sweary, first person platforming shooter which nails nearly everything asked of it. Being picky, we could include a few slowdowns in the visuals during a couple of cutscenes, but it’s hardly anything to worry about. We’ve got little but praise for what Flying Wild Hog have created here and aside from the fact that it’s an extremely linear playthrough, the occasional glitch through scenary and the fact that we’re not sure there’s much reason to want to play it again once the credits roll, it’s hard to find fault. And whilst it may seem a little thing, well laid out menu systems help complement the action, ensuring you’re never out of the madness for too long. Complete these – you know, X kills with a weapon, utilising environmental objects a set number of times – and filling out Wang’s skill set and weapon types, making him an absolute badass (more so than even he knows) takes things in Shadow Warrior 3 to an even higher level. It helps that it all sounds and looks so good too – we’ve been especially taken in by the cutscenes and their well directed way of purveying the situations ahead.Ĭharacter and weapon upgrades are plentiful, as are in-game challenges which are easy to keep track of. It’s very much like the rebooted DOOM in fact, but in our eyes feels more rounded and open to fun. Throw in the occasional bigger boss that come with their own health bar and unique way of working, and this easily plays out as a first person shooter’s dream. Some will freeze enemies, others will increase your health, more will allow you to deliver some serious firepower.Ĭlearing an arena normally leads to another linear pathway, letting you and Wang rinse and repeat as the story progresses. ![]() These never get old either, with each one providing a specific special weapon on the back of it timed so they don’t become too overpowering. Thankfully, orbs are dropped for every kill, with health and ammo options dictated by your final kill type melee or ranged.įinisher moments also build on this and once you’ve been able to build out your special meter, getting up close and pulling off some Gore moves is great fun. It gets trickier once the more complex characters of the brute-like Oni Hanma, the laser-firing Shoguns and especially the destructive Mogura Twins rock up on the scene. Yes, mostly you’ll just be able to pummel any of the seriously freaky hordes into submission – especially those made up of standard grunt hordes of Kugutsu and Shogai – but as the game progresses and the sheer number of enemies at any one time increases, you’ll have to start thinking about exactly how you’re going to take opponents out. There’s a bit of strategy and tactical calling to this combat too, as each and every foe comes with their own unique abilities and attacks. Without a word of a lie, we’ve found Shadow Warrior 3 to deliver one of the most engaging combat situations we’ve played through for ages. Slicing, dicing, shooting and causing utter chaos is the name of the game here, mixing in some chi-based powers as well, allowing you to push back oncomers before assessing the situation and going back in, all guns blazing.

Speeko speaker1/9/2024 This was a very recent experience and I was involved in two sessions of the conference. I felt more pressure and anxiety than usual because of the setting and compensation. I was invited to speak at my first national conference (also the first time I would receive an honorarium for speaking), and I felt it was an opportunity I couldn’t turn down. I have been doing this with writing but can reach a different audience with public speaking. I now have a desire to reach patients outside of my office and disseminate mental health information and reduce stigma on a broader scale. I love my job but have practiced at the same facility since residency, and seeing many of the same patients, for over a decade. I have turned down some local speaking opportunities and TV and radio appearances because I feared I would freeze. I do an adequate job because I am presenting quality information, but my presentation has not been quality. I have stumbled over words or lost my place. I worry leading up to the event, sweat and have upset stomach before, and my voice shakes during. I have given lectures to medical students, nurses, and therapists spoken at community events, and given a grand rounds – because I had to. Every time, I was petrified. My fear of singing, dancing, and speaking in public has continued since then. I don’t like large crowds and prefer communication by text or email instead of by phone (that might also be part of my introvert nature.) I often turn down or cancel social engagements, even if they could lead to friendships or networking opportunities. I remember hearing my voice say “I forgot the words” echoing into the microphone, then hearing people snickering. I recall having stage fright during adolescence when I forgot the words of part of my solo verse during a youth choir performance at church. One of my feared situations is public speaking or glossophobia. Here’s an abridged version of the DSM-5 criteria for social anxiety disorder for those who aren’t familiar with the symptoms: a persistent fear of social or performance situations in which the person is exposed to unfamiliar people or to possible scrutiny by others and fears that he or she will act in a way or show anxiety symptoms that will be embarrassing and humiliating exposure to the feared situation almost invariably provokes anxiety, which may take the form of a panic attack the person recognizes that this fear is unreasonable or excessive the feared situations are avoided or else are endured with intense anxiety and distress the avoidance, anxious anticipation, or distress in the feared social or performance situations interferes significantly with the person's normal routine, occupational or academic functioning, or social activities or relationships, or there is marked distress about having the phobia. I finally decided that this year I would no longer allow my social anxiety to stifle me. However, I am one of the seven percent of American adults with social anxiety disorder and it has stalled my progress. I would like to be able to do this as well. Some physicians have been able to expand their careers by becoming professional public speakers. Physicians are expected to be leaders and capable of disseminating medical information to their patients and the public. Along with this expectation comes public speaking such as lectures to medical students and residents, grand rounds, and community education events. Open in terminal dconf1/9/2024 So there is a default-size-columns key that could (?) correspond to the default_size_columns key in Ubuntu 14.10, but there is no use-custom-default-size key corresponding to the use_custom_default_size key in Ubuntu 14.10. Still in Ubuntu 15.10 (using gnome-terminal version 3.16.2), if I run: $ gsettings list-keys .Profile:/ | grep default Why is there a /org/gnome/terminal/legacy/profiles:/ path for dconf but no .Profiles (note the trailing s) schema id for gsettings? Also, see Shouldn't dconf-editor and gsettings access the same database? for more information.Whereas $ gsettings list-relocatable-schemas | grep Terminal Now, in Ubuntu 15.10, typing: $ dconf list /org/gnome/terminal/legacy/ $ gconftool-2 -set /apps/gnome-terminal/profiles/Default/use_custom_default_size \ Now, I would like to change some of my old scripts ( since they are broken in Ubuntu 15.10 ) to work with dconf/ gesettings instead of gconftool-2.Īs an example, on Ubuntu 14.10 ( gnome-terminal version 3.6.2 ) I could set the number of columns in the Default profile using: $ gconftool-2 -set /apps/gnome-terminal/profiles/Default/default_size_columns \ I guess this issue is related the Gconf to GSettings migration. After upgrading form Ubuntu 14.10 to 15.10, it seems that changing gnome-terminal preferences using gconftool-2 is no longer supported.

Reverb lp reviews1/8/2024 ![]() My first sale occurred on one of the worst days of my life. It was ear pleasing and complimentary of the tones – it didn’t try to steal the show from the tubes, but it came pretty close.I first joined Reverb to escape eBay's crazy fees, and since Reverb is dedicated to serving the musician community, it seemed like the perfect market to sell and purchase new gear for us gear junkies. ![]() It was organic sounding, and while it doesn’t have the range of a modern digital reverb pedal or plug-in, it still gets our vote. The onboard long spring reverb was pretty magical. ![]() The cab will happily accept 12” speakers if you’re wanting to upgrade, and a lot of companies sell circuitry upgrade kits. One of the things that have made these amps so popular is the fact that they can be hot-rodded pretty easily. The breakup was gnarly and gritty, and best of all, easy to control. For being only 12 watts, this amp moved huge volumes of air – it was incredibly loud in our relatively small space, but still, the sound was ear pleasing. Speaking of pushing the amp, after we’d let the tubes warm up (3 x 12AX7s, 1 x 12AT7, 2 x 6V6s, and 1 x 5AR4 rectifier tube), we let her stretch her legs and pushed the volume all the way. The Jensen C-10R delivers those cleans well, and yet, handles breakup brilliantly when the amp gets pushed. The speaker choice is a large part of the classic, clean Fender sound. This is the same speaker that powered the original Princeton, and we found that this vintage reissue, to the casual observer, sounded borderline identical to the models of the 1960s. It’s a 12 watt amp, and is loaded with a single Jensen 10” Special Design C-10R. ![]() The sound was rich and sweet, with minimal effort required to balance the EQ. When we kept the volume at practice/recording levels we got some of the most exceptional, chiming Fender tones. They are famous for their clean tones, and we were not disappointed at all. There’s a good reason why the ’65 Princeton Reverb is one of the most widely used studio recording amps in the world. The speed dial controls the modulation speed of the vibrato effect that can be activated from the foot pedal, and intensity will alter the depth of the vibrato. The reverb control impacts the level of reverb that makes it into the output. The Reverb section has dials for reverb, speed, and intensity. We would have liked to have seen a middle frequency dial, but that can still be manipulated with a pre-amp pedal if you desperately need such control. It features 2 channels and has controls for volume, treble, and bass on the EQ side. It’s not a light weight amp, but it’s still portable, regardless. It had an advertised weight of 34 lb, but our test model weighed in at a hair over 35lb. It’s made from particleboard, which at the price point, some might find a little disappointing, but having had our hands on plywood cabinets in the past, we couldn’t pick up any discernable difference in tone. If you opt for the tweed, you’ll get a 1x12” speaker, rather than the 1x10” we got on our black model. We tested the standard black finish, but it’s also available with a beautiful lacquered tweed cover and brown grille cloth. The switchgear was smooth, and the Tolex was well applied. We found that it was very well put together. There are no complex controls, just a very simple black-face panel, with the classic silver grille cloth. Clean lines and simplicity are the order of the day. There is something pretty special about the look of a Fender amplifier.

Compass for a smith chart1/8/2024 ![]() ![]() The focus of today’s article will be on them so more details will be provided as the article proceeds. The image below shows an impedance smith chart. They are the most popular, with all references to smith charts usually pointing to them and others being regarded as derivatives. The Impedance smith charts are usually referred to as the normal smith charts since they relate with impedance and works really well with loads made up of series components, which are usually the main elements in impedance matching and other related RF engineering tasks. While the impedance smith charts are the most popular and the others rarely get a mention, they all have their “superpowers” and can be extremely useful when used interchangeably. Based on this scaling, smith charts can be categorized into three different types ![]() Smith chart is plotted on the complex reflection coefficient plane in two dimensions and is scaled in normalised impedance (the most common), normalised admittance or both, using different colours to distinguish between them and serving as a means to categorize them into different types. As a result of this, most RF Analysis Software and simple impedance measuring instruments include smith charts in the display options which makes it an important topic for RF Engineers. Smith chart can be used to display several parameters including impedances, admittances, reflection coefficients, scattering parameters, noise figure circles, constant gain contours and regions for unconditional stability, and mechanical vibrations analysis, all at the same time. However, the Smith charts method of displaying data have managed to retain its preference over the years and it remains the method of choice for displaying how RF parameters behave at one or more frequencies with the alternative being tabulating the information. It was originally developed to be used for solving complex maths problem around transmission lines and matching circuits which has now been replaced by computer software. The Smith Chart, named after its Inventor Phillip Smith, developed in the 1940s, is essentially a polar plot of the complex reflection coefficient for arbitrary impedance. We will look into the types of smith chart, its construction and how to make sense of the data it holds. For today’s tutorial, we will be looking at one of the tools that were developed back then and are still currently being used by engineer for RF designs, behold The Smith Chart. In today’s age with different software tools, things are a bit easier but if you go back to the periods before computers became this powerful, you will understand how difficult things were. RF Engineering is one of the most interesting and challenging parts of Electrical Engineering due to its high computational complexity of nightmarish tasks like impedance matching of interconnected blocks, associated with the practical implementation of RF solutions.

Chevy volt range per charge1/8/2024 ![]() So, this keeps the car rust-free for a long period. Factors like the level of moisture and humidity in your area, salted roads, and the frequency of cleaning the car can all affect the rate of corrosion and rust.īut like most modern cars, GM dips the shell of the Volt in anti-rust coating before painting. There is no definite timeframe for rust to appear on a Chevy Volt. How Soon Should You Expect Rust on a Chevrolet Volt? Since the Volt has the added advantage of the gas engine, it should last longer when compared to regular cars. General Motors guarantees that the battery would last 100,000 miles before losing 10 to 30 percent of its original capacity. That being said, with the proper care and maintenance, we expect your Volt to reach 200,000 miles. There was no significant battery degradation. It was a 2012 model, and it didn’t require any major repair until it hit the 400,000 mile mark. How Many Miles Can You Expect From a Chevrolet Volt?Įrick Belmer, a General motors employee, reportedly had up to 460,000 miles on his Chevrolet Volt. If you drive an average of 15,000 miles per year, the car may serve you for about 13 to 20 years. With proper use and maintenance, a Chevrolet Volt can last 200,000 to 300,000 miles before you experience any major issues with the hybrid powertrain and other expensive components. Here’s the short answer to how long Chevrolet Volts last: Tips to Prolong the Life of Your Chevrolet Volt. Are Chevrolet Volts Expensive to Maintain?.The Best and Worst Years for Chevrolet Volt. How Long Do Chevrolet Volts Last Compared to Similar Cars?.How Soon Should You Expect Rust on a Chevrolet Volt?.How Many Miles Can You Expect From a Chevrolet Volt?.Here’s the short answer to how long Chevrolet Volts last:.If you install Chevrolet’s 19.2 kW charging module, you can expect 52 miles of range per hour, a significant jump compared to a regular socket.Įven if you use your home’s 30-amp 240 volt dryer plug, stepped down to 24 amps, you can expect 14 miles of ranger per hour (assuming you have the RWD Blazer with standard 70 kWh battery pack.)īut, if you don’t plan to use Level 2 charging, charging off a regular wall outlet is definitely possible.Īs mentioned, as official info comes out, I’ll update this blog post accordingly. It’s doable and complete possible, but, if you drive a lot and hope to use your Blazer EV as a daily, probably not practical.īlazer EV owners will likely get some kind of Level 2 charging at home that will have similar charging times as the Cadillac Lyriq. The above estimates should give you a rough idea how liveable your Blazer EV will be, charging off a regular plug. 672 kWhħ0 kw/.672 kw= 104 hours for a full chargeġ00 kw/.672 kw= 148 hours for a full chargeĬharging a standard Blazer EV overnight (an 8-hour charge) with the 8-amp limit yields about 2.4 miles of range an hour, or about 20 miles of range. Using the same math above, if you’re limited to 8 amps,ĩ60 watts x. You may see an 8-amp limit if you’re not charging at home, or if conditions warrant a lower charging level. Just like the Mustang Mach E, the Blazer will probably offer RWD and AWD options.īlazer SS will probably be the dual-motor AWD Blazer with the larger battery pack. Estimated ranges with battery sizes and drivetrain It’s worth noting, although the Bolt and Bolt EUV have 65 kWh battery packs, they are Samsung batteries and not Ultium-based. Until we have more information, I’m assuming the Blazer EV will come standard with a 70 kWh battery and optional 100 kWh battery pack, just like the Cadillac Lyriq. The Mach E has a 70 and 90 kWh battery pack. We can also safely assume Chevrolet is benchmarking Ford’s Mustang Mach-E against the Blazer. For example, the Cadillac Lyriq EV and Hummer EV have 100 and 200 kWh Ultium battery packs, respectively. Ultium batteries range in size from 50 to 200 kWh. GM will use Ultium Batteries and propulsion systems.

Drakengard 3 gabriel1/8/2024 ![]() Important note regarding the Trophy List: This game has 2 trophies lists in English (they do not stack) and this Trophy Guide will be using the default list names. Please note that all items/money and experience are gained at the end of chapter results screen, so if you quit halfway through a chapter, you will not be able to gain anything from it!! Also, if you die and continue playing, you will lose all progress and the items/money/exp that you've earned since the last checkpoint!!! There are three gold trophies in this game, but those three are likely going to be your last three on your way to, and if you can't complete Ending D, then you are locked out of two of them. All chapters and cutscenes are replayable via chapter select, and you can even start at checkpoints in the middle of chapters, so it's very useful for collecting missed treasure chests. There is no difficulty option, but during the story mode, the more times you die, the less damage enemies deal to you, so there really is no getting stuck at any point (except for Ending D). Gameplay-wise, the game is a pretty simple hack-and-slash, with the occasional flight/rail shooter sequences. Slowdowns are still commonplace though (sometimes making the game virtually unplayable for up to 10 seconds or so), so you'll have to bear with it until they potentially release another patch. As far as I know, the glitch no longer exists at this point in time after the update. The game is unfortunately riddled with graphical glitches and constant frame rate slowdowns, but a patch v.1.02 has been released, which fixed many bugs, including a glitch for obtaining certain trophies. Anyway, refer to Ending D trophy for details. In order to see the very last ending of the game, you must go through an extremely brutal rhythmic section that has no reliable visual cues for more than half the song. Before you start, you should know that there is one single trophy in the game that is significantly harder, and that's what bumped the difficulty up from 4 or 5 to a 7 (at least for me). This guide is based on the Japanese release of Drag-on Dragoon 3, but since the trophy list is in English, I assume that the localized version(s) will have the exact same trophies, and thus the list is probably not stackable. |
